United Streaming for Students

Here is the link for Discovery Education. If you forgot your user name and password, click on the "Forgot username or password" link below the login screen. Once logged in, click on the "My Classroom" tab.  The instructions for adding students is there.

Once you set up the accounts, students will have access from home. I have a letter that I have used to inform parents which I will post on this blog for you to use. Use the "My  Builder Tools" to manage the assignments you want to give students. This can also be used for writing prompts and to build quizzes.

As I recall, students have access to all of the videos, not just the ones that you have assigned. Parents need to know that they should be monitoring the students in Discovery Education because it has topics through high school although the ones on human growth are not available to elementary. This information is included in the parent letter. I like this option because it gives the students to view topics of interest.
